the question is one of attitude you have complete control of that one thing in your life. If you wish to spend time upset then you will ...the old saying if someone hands you lemons make lemonade also applies to the same thing ... no one can control the way in which you wish to look at the world but you I used to tell my students that they could change there clothes and their attitude that makes you very powerful just those two things.... smile it makes others wonder what you have been up to

Actually, I think the quote is "Every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness lost."

It means that if you spend time dwelling on hurtful things, you're missing out on what can make you happy.

You have too much time on your hands..Some places every second means survival so no time to think about the "concept " of happiness. Other places upset means a canoeing accident..To me time move forward, and you can spend it living, or you can spend it dying. It is the same 60 seconds..

listed under are a pair of my favorites: "two decades from now you would be extra upset via the failings which you probably did no longer do than via those you probably did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail remote from the risk-free harbour. capture the commerce winds on your sails. come across. Dream. come across." - Mark Twain "You earnings potential, braveness and self assurance via each and every adventure in which you rather supply as much as look concern in the face. you could say to your self, 'I surely have lived via this horror. i will take the subsequent element that comes alongside.' you ought to do the element you think of you could no longer do." - Eleanor Roosevelt "braveness isn't the absence of concern, yet quite the judgement that something else is extra significant than concern." - Ambrose Redmoon "each and every guy dies; no longer each and every guy rather lives." - William Wallace (Braveheart)

Hi Aliah,

Life is short.
There are sixty seconds
in one minute, so spend every
second searching for happiness
and avoiding being upset at all costs.

Again, life is short!

Hope this helps

existance will always balance itself. one may count the seconds of a miserable moment becausethe only other option is misary.when things are well i less often dwell in the moment having better thoughts to follow than the time i am spending.

To me, It means that It really counts more when you spend your time ENJOYING life, insted of being mad about something. Spend time with friends, family, the ones you love. It reminds me of a verse in Psalms. I believe it says "The Lord has given us this day, go forth and enjoy it"

Merry Christmas :)
