mines just froze nuthing is working it is showing the picture none of the buttons work should i wait untill battery dies

Try turning it off or removing the battery. Do you have any music that you downloaded illegally of the internet on there? Often times those files have viruses in them and once transferred to the MP3 player, it will cause it to freeze or crash. Another cause would be if you did not properly disconnect it from the computer. You must choose the safely remove hardware button before disconnecting it and make sure that it says that it is safe to disconnect. Hopefully when you bought it you got an extended warranty for it, if not, ...sorry...

Take out the battery and put it back in again. If that does not work get it repaired.

I bought one for each of my kids. One of them did the same thing. I was able to swap batteries to make sure that the battery wasn't the problem. It wasn't. I sent it in for repair, under warranty fortunately, and they had to replace it. Hopefully it is still under warranty.
