Is he really too afraid to talk to an average or randomly selected person? Can it be that he is afraid of being held accountable for his failed presidency?

I am beginning to wonder if Bush is not a coward.

Bush may not even know. He just does what he is told. Remember, this is a President who did not even know there was internal strife in Iraq, or that the Sunni, S’hia, and Kurds even existed as independent entities, before he invaded. He did this even though his own father had written in his 1998 book ‘A World Transformed’ what a bad idea it was. He invaded even after Colin Powell warned him that “if you break it, then you own it”.
So, on the one hand, it is because he is uninformed and does not know anything about any of the major issues. Then, there are the problems associated with his learning disability that make him an ineffective speaker if he gets off-message. It was embarrassing when he bailed out of appearing before England’s parliament during one of his visits there because his handlers decided he was not up to the task – something that Tony Blair faces on a regular basis.
No one in the world takes Bush seriously, other than in matters of his reckless misuse of America’s military. Leaders from North Korea, Iran, and other countries routinely punk Bush to his face. They play him like a chump just because they can and they like to make him look weak and foolish on TV.
When he and Hugo Chavez were both at the UN, the Secret Service had to peek around corners to make sure that Bush did not accidentally run into Chavez and have to speak to him.
How pathetic is it for the President of the United States to be sneaking through the halls like he is in High School and trying to avoid someone that he is afraid to face?

provide Obama a break! He in basic terms have been given into workplace. Bush and his administration have positioned our united states into such financial debt,it is going to take us a life-time to get out of. They enable 9/11 ensue. do not you come across it remarkable that once 9/11 befell no one "important" substitute into interior the international commerce center on the time? No celebrities,super time politicians,etc. Bush has been sending further and extra of our troops over to Iraq and a brilliant style of them have been killed,and for what? Bush and his administration drove this united states into the floor. i believe that Obama and his administration are and could do each thing that they'd to get this united states back on aim,whether it is going to take time,this is not an in one day technique.

Yes yes and yes. He wasn't elected in the first place, and only got to be 'president' cuz his daddy was and his dad was also former director of the CIA, so I'm sure he's got lots of dirt on people in high places. The whole family is just plain corrupt. Like most politicians.

Because it gives the impression that his policies and persona are popular. They're highly staged, choreographed "infommercials" that sell chintzy cr-ap for the masses. Today in the wake of his abyssmal approval ratings, supporters and allies are getting harder to find, hence less public meetings and rallies...

Cuz a random crowd of Amerrcans wuld ask too many hurtful, diffucult, and anti-Amerrcan questions. Plus, it feels good to be surrounded by supporters--you dont wanna make a "War Presdient" angry!
