The bottom line is, did you take it or not? If not, then there can be nothing on the tape that will cause you any concern. As soon as this charge was made, you should have contacted a lawyer. You have several options here, and you really need a lawyer to do this for you. You can sue for recovery of lost wages. Sue for defamation of character. And sue for punative damages.
Don't worry about the manager who opened the safe. That's not part of your concern. All you have to be clear on is the fact that you did not take the money. Tell your lawyer about the security cameras and he can insist on a viewing.
Good luck!

Unless they can prove you acctauly stole money they cant really do anything without having the risk of being sued. Any thing In the american Legal System has to be proven before a punishment can be exicuted so Unless they acctauly have soilid proof. And If they do decide to press charges argue that the tape could have been edited or otherwise tampered with. Its very hard to prove a robbery case especially when its over 680$

Go and talk to a lawyer about your situation (hopefully a friend of the family). He/she will be able to access the situation and advise you of your rights and any legal actions you should follow up on.

Good luck

That happened to me once while I was in high school. I got blamed and was let go (no criminal actions), two months later I heard the manager got arrested for stealing money.

Same F_cker that said I stole the money

Well did you talk to the police department and ask them to view the tape . if you are being accused of this crime then you should have the right to view it . if they don't let you view it then you need to find a lawyer and fight it . if you can't afford one there are public defenders out there . call a lawyer that has free consultation and ask them what can be done .

Well only you would know if you stole the money or not. IF you did NOT steal the money then don't back down. If you DID then it would serve you best to walk away and even return the money.

you can go after them, if you can prove it, for defamation of character and intentional infliction and negligent infliction of emotional distress....

by law, they have to prove that you stole the money. Therefore, they MUST turn over all evidence to you, that is under during discovery...good luck
