Ive got a peugeot 306 and have had no problems with it and still dont, its just the clutch is a bit jumpy (it has got a kind of kick to it when it suddenly jumps up on me.) it isnt that much of a problem as ive got used to it but i was just wandering if anyone elses peugeot does this. oh btw it is a 1998.

A host of things will cause this.
A bad pressure plate, a bad clutch disc, a bad throwout bearing, a bad hydraulic cylinder, a bad clutch cable, debris on the clutch disc or pressure plate. Loose bolts on the pressure plate cover, bad springs on the pressure plate cover. Even a badly worn pilot bearing can cause this. A good mechanic can usually differentiate between the host of problems and pin point it. Good luck!

could be as simple a low fliud in the clutch master cyl

the clutch is rough.all you can do about that is change the clutch.
