I think that blacks should be given that chose. we as a society have progressed alot over the years and racial bias that was seen years ago is not as widespead today. I think people are more concerned about the was on terror rather than blacks attending predominately white colleges. we must all get an education

I went to a predominantly white severe college, to say the least. i became actually one of three black females contained in the completed college. It became a private, catholic, all-female college, so I kinda comprehend the way it feels. even as i became searching for faculties, i did not truly pick to bypass to an hbcu yet I also needed a school that became distinct adequate. I attend Tufts college and that i actually like it. it really is predominantly Caucasian, yet I actually have such fairly some acquaintances, black or white and its outstanding. i respect being at Tufts because the ambience is large and the everyone looks outstanding.

Personally, I feel blacks who attend predominately white colleges are probably looking for change. It is definitely ok for blacks to go to an all white college, but they should remember that they may feel left out or like they don't have anyone to relate to if they attend a predominately white college.

They are welcome, as far as I am concerned. However, I don't think the kind of diversity that colleges strive to get has any effect on undergraduate education at all. In graduate school I think that diversity is very important.

I think it's a good idea--adds to the diversity of the group while bringing in another viewpoint!
