Not to my knowledge, Olds made a star fire (98) in 57, again in 1963 off and on till 1980 at least.
Pontiac had a Chieftain 1949 thru 1953, and a Star Chief in 1954 thru 1966.

I knew 2 fire chiefs that drove red 88`s, but that don`t count.

Pontiac made the fire bird to my knowledge not the fire chief although i could be wrong

Yes, late 40's (possibly) Early 50's Definite.
Quick search showed a 1952 4 door model, and a 1951 model.

I believe that this is a diecast model of one.

Gee, I wish I knew the answer to that one. I was a teen in the late sixties/early seventies, and that name sounds familiar, but maybe that's because a friend's dad had a car that LOOKED like it could belong to the chief of the fire department. (He was actually a washing machine repairman.)
