That's perfectly normal, I think all students who study abroad go through that. I sure did. Hang in there, try to appreciate the new experiences around you. Remember that it's only temporary and when your turn is over you'll go back home.

Hang in there, Sweetie. It really doesn't take that long to get accustomed to a place - even if it seems to be forever.

We adopted a Colombian teenager and she is going thru the same thing. It can be overwhelming. But, what she left was so miserable that there is no way she'd ever want to go back to that life.

She does visit a counselor once a week. It is good to have someone to talk to who isn't your parent. She looks forward to her sessions.
