some customers can't understand that time and convenience are not free in most cases, how can i deal with these people in a peaceful instead of being mean to them ?

Tell them that God told the company to add on service charges, if they argue, tell them to talk to God directly.

People can be a real pain, especially on the phone. You could also tell them that it costs money for the company to employ people to answer their stupid questions, that might work, just leave out the word "stupid". Or, say it's either a small fee, or else charging 4 bucks a minute in order to talk to a real person on the phone. Or say it's because of gas prices going up.

Explain they must pay additonal money, a "Service Charge," for service in addition to the standard fee or basic fee.
