I just got my first period and I was wondering if first periods are longer then once they get regular.

No first periods are not usually longer than later on. Period length is different for every woman the average is 3-7 days. It may take a little while for you to become regular as your body has alot of changes to make.
Just relax and try not to worry over it.

It can vary between 3 -7 days. Some girls' periods are short, some are long. It can vary, but it's all normal.

My first was 7 days long. It pretty much stayed that way until I went on the pill thirteen years ago. Now it's 6 days.

I got my first period when I was 12 and it lasted about 4-5 days it was very light. But this was almost 13 years ago. I didn't experience much cramping and I was more embarassed than anything,because my oldest sister announced in front of my family.

okay my first period was like 9 days but after that it was all shorter 3-7 days

3-5 days should b right. if its around 6 days tho dnt wrry about it

Not really, you might want to see a doctor. Another thing is drink lots of warm teas and drinks it gets your blood flowing faster and it will be shorter! Good luck!

3-5days...Personally mine stayed the same but it may be different for you!
