I wont write an essay but here's a few hints.
All the characters are likeable. The show is very well written. There's usually a happy ending. Of course without Will Smith the show wouldn't be worth 2 cents.
It makes you laugh. It makes you cry. It makes you think at times.

Just a personal note. I don't like it when they make fun of white people and the sensors let them get away with it.
I've seen it a few times.

I liked it when it was current because I had a die-hard crush on Will Smith. Thinking back, it was the theme song that hooked me. The bonds Will made in the Banks household were very tight, and a lot of the plots were written very well and realistically while staying within network boundaries. Will and Carlton tempered each other perfectly, too.
Come to think of it, that was a pretty good show.

If it was just Will Smith, I probably would not watch the show. The chemistry between his Uncle, Carlton, and the butler Jeffery is excellent - I used to watch the show just to see them. Good luck on your essay!

i don't know if this will be essay material, but I like the show because there was no killing, no shooting, no rapes, no drugs. It was just a real family show that you could actually watch with your family. The violence today on television is simply appalling and it's no wonder why we are in the predicament we're in with our young people.

will smith is very funny because of his jokes about carlton and uncle phil.also,its a family sitcom and has some good messages.

yeah i like it, but what woud you need to know about if people like it or not. i like tyra banks and she was on for a bit, and i absolutley love will smith.
