No it's not.
TV shows are low quality and exist only to get you to watch the commercials in between.
How is this not healthy? Your mind is never challenged so your IQ goes down. You get sucked into consumerism, which drains your savings (or potential savings), which is not necessarily the best use of your money.
Sure, it's just entertainment, and it's simple and fun, but this stuff gets into your head. Soon, you'll act like these Grey's Anatomy neurotics and liars. You'll think it's cool to be edgy and rude like House, M.D. Etc...
Whatever. Go on watching TV. I still do.... :-(

A little TV isn't bad. I think it's a necessary diversion in our busy lives. If you're glued to the TV every waking moment, then that's not healthy.
But I only have 3-4 shows I watch regularly and don't miss. If I have to miss them, I record them and watch them later when nothing else is on.

Sometimes I think it can be, if a certain TV show makes you think about the real world or about who you are as a person. My case in point: House MD ~ I am obsessed! But I believe that everything about the show is brilliant, and I've learned some stuff from it!

Well, Kim, honey, I already told you, it is not healthy if you are addicted to it... Addictions are bad... You are not alone though!! There are millions of other people who get hyped up about tv shows... Just make sure the tv isn't brainwashing you!!!
