The quickest way to lose weight is by drinking cabbage water and nothing else for two weeks - it will drop off you, but this will leave you starved!
What I would recommend and is safe and healthy, is to do some fast, brisk walking for 40 mins a day - this will tone fat areas and shape you up. Eat little potions of food rather than having meals and eat fibre-fuelled foods that will detox your body and rid you of the salts and sugars that cause the fat.
Eat wholemeal bread with boiled eggs for lunch, a small dish of wholemeal rice with pure tomato juice and some herbs for supper, bananas with natural yoghurt for breakfast or bran cereal, also eating as much green leafy vegetables without sauces and with fish or lean chicken is great too. Stick to these meals everday but keep them small (bowl size) - only eat what you have served yourself and no more than this.
These fibre foods will get the weight off you but only if eaten in small quantities and not large plate sizes. Your breakfast is the most important meal of the day and so eat a good bowl of bran. These foods take some time getting used to if you don't normally eat them, but they are much more filling to eat and actually get rid of the waste that is sitting in your stomach left unprocessed.
Avoid anything with sugar or salt as these are what causes weight and they can be found in all foods that are not whole. Drink at least five glassess of water a day and drinking before meals will make you feel fuller anyway and will cause you to eat less.
Your diet is what is going to make you lose weight and excercise really does a lot to tone you up and to look firmer whilst you are losing weight - push yourself to walk for 40 minutes a day and you will soon find yourself getting very fit. It took me a while to get used to whole foods and excercise and no other diets work at all because whole food is the most detoxyfying of foods and what rids your body of excess weight and maintains a healthy balance.
You will see a huge difference to your body in just a week by following my instructions but you have to keep at it and don't let yourself be tempted by foods with salt or sugar as these are the worst kinds and put masses of weight on people. Fast food places like burger chains have salt and sugar content in their foods as well as fat, so keep away from burger meals, curries and or anything processed such as microwave meals, tins of food and cake,crisps etc.
You will also feel so much more healthier after eating a bowl of bran and two glasses of water!
I give you advice that will work for anyone overweight but to discipline yourself is the hardest thing. You just have to know that you are doing it to rid your body of bad toxins This is what is going to shift the weight seriously. In two weeks, you can lose around 30lb if you stick to this regime and don't slip backwards.
If I can do it, then so can you - just beleive in yourself more than you do and excercise is something most of us dread, but it can be very enjoyable once you feel the benefits of it working you out.

Sorry but there is no easy way to lose weight without exercise. You need to do at least 45 minutes of aerobics 5 times a week, or run 4 miles at least 5 times a week for a month, plus eat less.

It is really easy to lose track of time, get exercise and eat less when you are really busy..Shopping also helps me keep weight off because I am too cheap to buy very much food and when I am at the mall I always need to go back and fourth through stores to compare prices..

Eat more protein and fiber earlier in the day, and don't eat a big dinner, esp. if you aren't exercising. If you're just going to sit on the couch when you get home from work, you don't need all the energy contained in a big meal, which just means it turns to fat. No more fries, fried food, or any high fat food. Eat a high protein, high fiber cereal for breakfast. DON"T skip breakfast, it starts your day out on the right foot.
