If a guy had something to say about my bra not matching my underwear, then I'd get up and leave.
I don't care if they match or not, and if he's that picky, then he doesn't deserve to see them anyway.

To tell you the truth I have never thought about it until you asked .I always presumed that most women would coordinate their underwear doesn't matter what color just the same bra and panties look nicer .How would I look if I wore odd socks kind of stupid wouldn't I ?As one woman says it is best to wear what is clean at the time but if I was a woman I would wear matching pieces but that is just me so I guess wear what you like when I am home alone which is most of the time on hot afternoons i wear nothing so I guess I am pleasing myself I just feel more comfortable that way I am certainly not a pervert or strange .Tell me this honestly do you go to the beach or swimming pool with odd bikinis? I guess I will never know as you can't tell me but you know the answer what makes that so different?

"Awful" might be a little strong. Frankly, it's never come up in any conversation I've had with men or women.
On the other hand, if you've got your hair all right, makeup set, nicely put together outfit, and then under the hood you're wearing pink lace panties and a polka-dot cotton bra, it just might seem a little out of place. To be harsh, it might seem like a nicely painted house, good landscaping, great decor inside, but the floor beams sag and you've got termite damage.
To me, beauty percolates through from the inside to the outside, and mis-matched underwear is a rather minor point. Nice if you can work it out, but not by any means a requirement unless you're trying to put together a total perfect impression.

Girl, guys tend to be more interested in what's underneath the undergarments. Chances are, they won't even notice the mismatch!

Probably because the guy in question is a ******** or has spent too much time with paper dolls, aka pinups, who ALWAYS have matching underwear and also wear spiked high heels when they're in bed. (Very practical.)
Real guys, the ones who honestly like you and want to have sex, don't give a flip about whether your undergarments match. They're more interested in taking them off.

Because the Victoria's Secret angels are always in matching bra+panties.
Seriously, though, I didn't realize that guys thought it was awful. I don't think it's awful at all.

Too much influence from the porn/fashion industry. They figure every woman must have matching lingerie since that's what they always see on TV and in the movies. For the rest of us, sometimes you've gotta just go with what's clean.

We have to present ourselves together at all times. Dont get dressed in the dark go to Victoria;s Secret and say CHARGE.
