It very much depends on the size of the market, and the person's experience. In one of the top 10 markets, like NY, LA, Chicago, Boston, Phila, DC, etc, they make way more than in smaller markets, like El Paso or Boise or Savannah.

I've seen reporter salaries range from the low 5 figures, to the mid-six figures. And anchors (for some reason) often make even more.
