I have a Scion TC and love it!
It's made by Toyota. It has the same engine as a Toyota Camry, so it's pretty good.
Everything is standard with them. Power everything, full window view out the roof, reclining BACK seats, plenty of trunk area, AC, etc.
$14,200 for a 2006 sounds like a pretty good price. Enjoy!

how old is it? miledge on a car should be 10-15,000 miles for every year. if the car has that many miles on it, it should be around 3 years old. anything less shouldn't be that expensive. that's only $600 less than the value. you need to take someone along who knows about cars, and can look it over for you.
is there a warranty?
new tires?
any problems?
reputable dealer?
they are made by toyota, and are great cars, with a few exceptions, of course. my step-sister got into an accident in hers, and everyone was unharmed. they're built very well.
just make sure you research the car, and have it checked out. remember about the miles.

Every one has their own opinions of cars (reason so many different ones out there) - car care is my proffession, and toyotas are at the top of my list for ease of maintenance and durability, also I currently own a Scion tC (my second one btw) and cannot say enough good about them... if you like what you have seen, I don't think you' ll be disappointed it's your money spend it wisely for you...

I have a tC with manual transmission - just a warning, the clutch is horrible on this car - possibly the worst I've ever used, so add on $650 for the TRD performance clutch to be installed by scion... if you want to be able to enjoy your manual transmission that is.

I have a 2007 and that is standard.. on the tc... My 2007 was 20400.. I have added leather.. and ipod radio... for 2000 more you can get a brand new 2007 with o miles.. Go to scion.com and go to the section where it says build your own!! That should help.
