Non prescription suggestions preferablly. I sthere anything i can do to slow the sore throat inflamation down or stoip it? or just help me right now?

Get some Cepacol antiseptic mouthwash/Gargle sold over-
the counter. #1 Brand used by Hospitals says right on the Label.
Stuff works !

Make sure you drink plenty of vtamin c. Short of taking drugs there is not a lot on offer. You can try gargling with warm waterand suck on butter menthols.You probably need to see a doctor.

Gargle with warm salt water. Drink plenty of fluids to keep hydrated. If it continues to get worse or gets really painful see a doctor to rule out strep.

Have you ever tried that Zicam? Its over the counter, and its supposed to fight off symptoms like that and illness before it can begin. It works amazingly well. You can buy it almost any drug store!

anything hot could help see I cheer and my throat always hurt and I drink hot tea with a mint in it.It helps me and it might help you.

also gargel with salt....every two hrs.

solubile asprin in a glass of water,gargle with it then swallow. that will ease it
