I think hunting is cruel and immoral game. Do you know, what they do to the animals they hunt down, like deer. One of my friend's brother goes hunting and one day he was shot in a convenience store by a robber. I thought that was karma.

I feel hunting is sad and wrong. There was a time in many years past that hunting was acceptable as food was needed. But, then you can get into that vegetarian topic thing that we don't need to eat meat...that's an entire other subject. But to the point here, long ago we hunted and killed for meat and the skin for survival. Today, we have grocery stores, refrigerators. Today, to purposefully plan, prey, stalk, hunt and kill an animal is just sad and done by macho egotistical people...just my opinion.

Sorry my friend, but you are way off base. I will however offer you these few allowances. I cannot stand those that sport hunt or fish. I do not even care if they catch and release. These people are not hunters and it is beyond cruel it is wasteful. I also hate feeders and plots, unless they feed the animals year round.

It cannot be immoral because God gave man (Adam and Eve) Dominion over all the animals.

I hunt and fish to eat them. I like the flavor of fresh game. It is more healthier than processed meats. It also cuts down on the food budget. I also grow a garden when I can for the same reasons.

Shame on you for being upset just because the animals are cute and free ranging. Ugly animals in pens are dying by the droves in bad conditions to keep this world moving. It is more cruel to raise animals up for slaughter, but it needs to be done as our society is too large to be sustained by hunter gatherer ways.

I will not lie to you. There is a thrill to the hunt and it is exciting to draw a bead on a deer or reel in a big fish. But, I realize that the animals life is being taken to sustain mine and my family and I am grateful.

I have mixed feelings about hunting, too.
It's a sport and most people do dress the animals for processing.
Actually, venison is supposedly healthier than grain fed meats from a stockyard.
I think your friend's brother was in the wrong place at the wrong time. sorry to hear that.

Most of the people I know that hunt were never in a war nor have they ever been in a real fire fight. It's their way of playing Army and experiencing a small portion of the thrill without any real danger. Deer don't shoot back.

hunting is a f****** cruel thing to animals, humanity has many things to eat, why kill animals? seriously, killing WAY to many animals just so the human race to eat them is f****** disgusting, if animals can be hunted then they should pass a law to hunt humans as well, theres too many of us humans anyways...
