pluged fuel filters, check fuel pump, and supporting circutry,
take a look at the fuel lines and make sure there is no leaking of fuel, ya don't need air in there.

V-6 or V-8?
Gotta know!
The V6 has a problem that I've seen a few times that would do exactly what you describe. One of the wires at the ignition coil connector(2 wire connector on top of coil)
will break. You can't see the broken wire because the wire strands are broken inside the insulation. This causes an intermittent running condition.

It could be a fuel filter clogged up I had one that let enough gas through to go slow but died when accelerating. Tried the first thing in the Motors manual and it worked. Youshouln't have to time it as it advances and retards automatically .(Althought the crank sensor could be bad but it wouln't start or start hard and pop and crack. No Check eng lite? No worries then

Did you replace the plug wires? If you did, you might not have them in the proper firing order. I would check the plug wires for the proper firing order first. If that doesn't work, check the rotor bug inside the distributor cap. If you didn't replace this when you did the tune-up it might be the problem. They are a weak point in the ignition system.

It could be the throttle position sensor. I would keep it simple. 2k, 2000???? If so, it will have variable controled timing.
