switch x and y
x=1/2y-3/2
1/2y=x+3/2
y=2x+3

This equation is not clear, because of the plain text that does not permit to write fractions and quotientes.

Considering that
Y=1/2X-3/2
is equal to
y=0.5 X -1.5

In this case it is sufficiente to isolate the variable X,
y=0.5 X -1.5 (x 2)
2y= x -3
x= 2Y +3

But if it is
Y= 1/(2x) -3/2

so we have:

Y=1/2X-3/2 (x 2)

2y= 1/x - 3

2y= 1/x - 3 (x X)

2yx =1 -3X

2yx + 3x =1

x(2y+3) = 1

x = 1/ (2y+3)

All you have to do is switch around the x and the y variables:
x = 1/2 y - 3/2

Or if you want it in y=mx+b form:
y = 2x + 3 (when you solve for y)
