I dont think it is right that blacks can have there own college (***** fund)or whatever its called, have there own shows BET (black entertainment)whites couldnt even try to attempt haveing a white college it would be concidered racist,also why do all blacks say all whites are racist?I think they are the main ones who are racist there the ones with the grudges with whites.

Also why are black women so mean to white women?every black girl that I have ever met has been mean or a backstabber

I'm black and i agree, it just shows that we all are mixed up to define justice and become one. you can't punish people of today because of what our history did 400 years ago.

First of all... ALL black people don't say whites are racist. And how would you know if all black people said that??? Have you meet ALL BLACK PEOPLE??? You said that you thought black people are the main racist ones, but have you heard of any black "KKK" GROUPS???

There are a many POOR blacks who can't afford college. Why??? Well lets see generations ago when blacks we're in slavery and whites where on top of the world (like they are now!) black could not get an education because it was against the law!!! So while whites are able to pass done a great education (money), which entitles whites to a great career and a generous bank account; what can black’s passes down??? how to do the laundry, pick cotton??? I'm not saying that there aren’t black who are racist or educated but how many can afforded to get/give their children a (good) education??? I’m not talking about those free (crappie) public schools that claim to be just as good as a high costing privet school. We all know if that were true everyone would go to public school; instead of wasting money on privet Prep Schools.
Why do blacks have BET, and whites not WET???
Well when whites have gone through the affects that slavery has had on the black generations then whites can have a WET; until then GET OVER IT !!! My mother always told me when I was a little girl. "Life’s not fair, so SUCK IT UP!!!"

First of all, blacks don't have their own colleges, they have historically black colleges for when they weren't allowed to go to white colleges. There is no such thing as a "black college" now because it's illegal to deny someone an education based on there race. Are there colleges where there are a majority of blacks? Yes, but there are far more colleges where whites are the majority.

What's wrong with having a college fund for black students? There are ones for being gay, being left handed, having a certain religion, and many more. Where's your complaint about those?

BET was made for a time when blacks weren't represented on other stations. Are you upset about all the hispanic channels or the asian ones? Seriously, blacks have one station with the word "black" in it and people want to complain. Whites have ABC, NBC, CBS, WGN, FOX, and basically every other channel on tv. Is it really hurting you that others want to be represented, or do you just have a superiority complex?

"Why do all blacks say all whites are rascist?" I seriously shouldn't be dignifying this blatant generalization with a response. Until you know all the blacks in the world, this sentence should never be repeated. Rascism comes in all colors, shapes, sizes, whatever. There is no way that all people of one group can be racist.

Did you know that anyone can go to these colleges, no matter what the color. The black colleges were created because it was too hard for us to get that level of education, because of our skin color. The scholorship was created for pretty much the same reason, there wasn't anything out there for us.
Ok, it's called Black Entertainment Television, that was created because we weren't seeing ourselves enough on TV. Aren't you happy with CBS, NBC, ABC, etc... Those channels all you need is a decent antenna to watch them, you still have to get cable to watch BET.
What I don't like is when the word "all" is used to describe a race. I, as a black woman, do not think that "all" white people are racist in the way that you think (read on I explain). I feel sorry that you have been exposed to black people who discriminate against you. I have friends from all races, I even married outside of my race, but we all have a little bit of racism in us. I have discussions with people of different races often, it is something that has become a part of everyones culture. Racism will never go away, at least not anytime soon. We all make little racist comments, or think little racist things, even against our own race, it's when we act on them when it's the problem. "Sticks and stones..." When was the last time you hear a dumb blond joke, or heard that white people can't dance etc... We all know that all blonds are not dumb, and not all white people can't dance. I'll stop rambling now, hopefully I gave something to think about.

You are a bit ignorant. First of all, they are called "Historically Black Colleges". And they came about because at the time, Blacks were not allowed in white schools so they formed their own. Secondly, these colleges are open to all and some whites choose to attend them. Jews have Yeshiva's too you know. And anyone can attend if they want a Jewish based education.

BET is no different from any other ethnic based programming. Like Irish or Italian American programming. And BET was started because at the time, T.V. shows and outlets like MTV were all white. So they filled a market void with Afro-centric programming.

And historically speaking Blacks may have good reason to hold grudges against white society on the whole.

i agree with you about the fact that if whites were to attempt to have an all white anything it would be against the law.
white people have been in the lead since a very long time ago.
the white people are very kind and allow this sort of thing to go on in order to let the blacks catch up . when they feel they are equal and stop referring to themselves as a minority or second class the need for the exceptions will end.
there is one more thing and that is i really dont like it when the blacks keep refering to themselfs as the minority and saying this and that happens because they are a minority first off they are often not the minority secondly the other races dont do this near as much take the japanise people they are a minority in north america but i dont remember them even one time using that as an excuse for there misconduct . instead if anything the use it as a reason to ensure there behaviour is better as a result of it .
the same goes for koreans and many other people from different places.
one thing the black people need to do is just stop the nonsence that is using there colour as the reason they are more likely to be in prison or jail or out of work. they also need to find leaders other then sharpten and jackson who play the race card like it was a magic card.
leaders should instead be found in people like rice and powel.
along with a great many others. they are people who have refused to use colour race numbers or anything else set them apart from others . the only thing that they accept as point of separation is behaviour of the individual.

You have to think when blacks were not allowed to attend colleges or any other school with whites. These colleges started because of segregation and blacks wanted a higher education, so they built their own. Before BET, TV shows were all or mostly white stations. MTV was all white and the very first black person to have a video on MTV was Micheal Jackson. You might want to read more on history of the United States and society. Not all blacks claim whites are racist. Think before you speak! Oh, about the black women are backstabbers, maybe you are hanging around the wrong black women.

Have you ever watched the show "Friends"? All white. Have you ever heard of Jim Carrey? He was a star is a "all black" (pretty well) show called living colour. Eddie Murphy was a star in an all white (pretty well) show Saturday Night live. Both shows were funny and both contributed to American comedy culture.

With respect to colleges? I kind of AGREE. I THINK THESE COLLEGES SHOULD BE BASED ON POVERTY LEVEL. They should accept non-blacks who are also poor and reject rich blacks that are too lazy to go to better schools.

Some exceptions? All blacks have more pigmentation in their skin than all whites and are a bit (I have no idea how much) less prone to skin cancer.

As long as society has areas that have racial concentration and subcultures you will have shows catering to that segment. Blacks in the US HAVE FREE SPEECH. They can have shows about how they see the world and how they experience it. Some will be all black. Most are not tho.

Sounds like you've met the wrong type of people and are misinformed. The ***** fund is not a black college, it is like a place for scholarships. There are black colleges, but other races also attend. If you want to go to college, there are many scholarships for different races in the world (native americans, jewish, etc.) BET is Black Entertainment Television - why are you offended by this? Different races watch BET just like black people watch other channels. Since you've heard of it, you've obviously browsed. I absolutely DO NOT believe all white people are racist. Where are you from? - it could be where you are from and you may have experienced this - I'm so sorry for you. First of all, all those things exist because black people didn't have the thing ya'll had. On top of that , we know all white people aren't racist so quit generalizing us. Also there are still racist white people who racist against everyone who isn't them. We have these things because people called us stupid, failures, and we've been underestimated. So these colleges we have, and being all the good things that we can be now, if showing everyone that we can succeed as much as they can. We came a long way from being seen as inferior and stupid. White people are allowed to go to black colleges and on to be on BET. As a matter of fact a white man owns BET! You make a lot of generalizations. I do not think that all whites are racist and I am a black person. Racism is real. Not all people are racist, but some people are. Black people as well as other races have traditionally had to deal with a lot of racism and they do harbor a lot of bitterness. I am not sure as to a solution to this problem.
