Hmmmm... this is a good question. Here's how I see it. In nature animals fight to the death all the time. It isn't considered murder when an animal kills another, it isn't thought of as anything. Humans are techinally animals right? I know humans are so much different than all the other animals on earth but could killing be a natural instinct in all animals? Humans just have the the ability to value life. Which is why we feel something when people die. Whether it be anger, sorrow, fear, or even happiness we feel something. Over the centuries society's have changed what they consider killing another human to be. In present day most society's over the world have decided murder is the worst crime. There for when someone kills someone people it's a big deal. It's just how society see's it. Killing isn't a logical thing. It is instinct which is why some feel no sorrow for it.

No, far worse.
Not even one action is the result of logical activity.
There could be all sorts of abstract reasoning occuring before such an event, but the thing that ultimately drives all human activity is passion. Choice is totally irrational. There's no natural matter of fact that compels anyone to go from true premises, to a true conclusion and then ACT on that conclusion. You may choose to, but only because your animal passion desires to act in accord with reason.

Well, take murder for instance. The murder rate in New York is probably 2000 people a year. The murder rate in London is maybe 100 people a year. These rates do not vary much year to year, so I could line up everyone in New York and say that 2000 of them will commit murder next year. The same in london I could say 100 of them will be murderers next year. Now, I doubt that many people are planning to kill anyone at this time, but it's been happening at these rates, and no reason to think it will change at any time. So, is it the individual's fault? or is it the society's fault.
I think it is society's fault, but we hold the individual responsible. Something weird here.

No. I believe most people make decisions based on emotions and feelings rather than logic or rationale.
Emotions are subjective and influenced by desires, hopes, dreams, perception, philosophical premises (like idealism), etc. Hard to be rational with all that going on.

In the human equation we already can go back to the first of almost ever sin committed Starting with Murder. Current humankind is fairly documented his moves. We are a greedy and aggressive species. It will take God to keep us from totally annihilating our selves. Our technology and or art keep getting better but we humans are still the same as from the time of Adam. Nothing in us has changed in over 100000 years.
To bad. We are in for such sorrow. There is a way out though. His name is Jesus and he is offering us a way out of allot of grief.
(Ecc 1:9) The thing that hath been, it [is that] which shall be; and that which is done [is] that which shall be done: and [there is] no new [thing] under the sun.

No. Most of our actions and judgments seem to be based in emotion and belief. (Belief is often maintained despite clear evidence that the belief is not reasonable, logical or true)
There is very little reason and logic involved in love and religion. Can you find reason and logic in the destructive behavior of becoming a victim of drug abuse when it is so clear beforehand how destructive it is? We find the desire is stronger than the argument that would prove our desire is damaging to us.

Yes. We all act according to our own rationality. I think that's why we, in general, are fascinated by serial killers and other diabolical people because we inherently believe that there must be a REASON for their actions.

If everyone acted logically. we'd all be Christians.
a) There is no God. It doesn't matter
what you do.
b) All roads lead to Heaven. It doesn't
matter what you do.
c) Only Jesus leads to Heaven. All other
roads lead to Hell.
Logic actually dictates that you MUST chose c).
If c is true, then you win. If c is false, you lose nothing. But people are not logical. Also, there is an enemy (Satan) who is intentionally trying to trick people into not recognizing this.
