Hi Foundlove, I live like this week in week out, it's now 10:25pm and dreading the thought of having to wake up on a dreary dark morning at 6:30am and plod along to work which is the same old, same old I'm dreading, I'm already saying roll on friday before I have got to work on a monday morning! Yes I do feel the joy of living is taken away as I only enjoy living the 2 days out of 7! Do you think we could change that Foundlove? Anyhow despite this I hope you have a really good week........soon be friday!!!

Yes we do sometimes. I always think of a tree in the garden of the house I grew up in. When I was a nipper it would be a place of adventure. I'd spend ages imagining it was something like a Pirate ship or a space station. Or I'd examine every branch to look at the creepy crawley imagining I was David Attenbrough. Now it's just another tree! We should all look to the simpler things and not take it for granted. Just think how quickly Christmas comes now and how long it took when we were kids! Hope this helps you look at things differently!

Yea, sometimes I feel that way, too. I was just sittin' out in the kitchen thinking the same thing.
It's an illusion! Cause' just look at you're life 5 or 10 years ago? It is most likely not the same life.
It's still you. But things are different.
It takes time, things tend to happen gradually over time, and sometimes it feels like they never will.
They do. I used to think if you make them.
Sometimes, ya just gotta let them.
Life is knocking on you're door. Knock, Knock,
Ya gonna answer the door?...Or let it keep knocking...It won't go away.

Yep, everyone seems to be on the fast track for the almighty dollar..... You have to have money to live, but you don't have to live for money. Too many people feel they have to have too many things. Cut down on the spending, get rid of the credit cards, then live the week-end for yourself. There is a big difference between "I want and I need" I think all of us need to look at that phrase and how it pertains to our lives......

I have a male friend that is 'always on the move' (his favourite phrase).I keep telling him to slow down but I think I'm wrong .He's just cramming his life with lots of fun and great things.I think he's got the right idea.Live every day like its your last! I think I might join him on his rollercoaster,it really is fun!

Was it not John Lennon who said "Life is what happens when you are making other plans" or something like that doesn't really matter when I heard it I started thinking about it and it's true...Like you think I will be happy when I do this that and the other when your best times seem to happen unexpectedly.

I think the key is to make time to spend with the people who matter to you. Life is short spend it on the people you love. My wife and children are most important, yet still I find a hundred things to do, when opportunity to share time, arrives.

I think many people do, dear one. They "need" this and they "need" that, when in actuality they "need" less. And the more you have, the more time and money you need to care for what you have. When that happens, a lot of our joy dissipates.

yes it has taken away the joy....we are all so busy getting by that we forget how to live and enjoy ourselves....we we have to remind ourselves you just take some time to just stop and smell the roses.

Some are too busy earning money for material things they do indeed miss what life is for.
