since chinese and japaniese cultures have a alphabet with hundreds of symbols..... what does their keyboards look like?

I went to Japan and the keyboards look the same as ours do, except with alternate Hiragana characters beneath the English letters. There's a program that lets you type in Hiragana, then you use capslock to change it to Katakana. The system automatically searches for Kanji based on the Hiragana and you can pick it out of the list.

I can't say for sure, but I would guess the Chinese would work similarly; a program allows you to specify specific characters.

So nice to know that I am not the only person out there thats ponders weird questions! I am often wondered the same thing, and am going to check and see what they do look like on some of the links!

My son took japaneese and he used microsoft to change our keyboard so he could type in another language.

2 0f 3 different dialects i think.

I do not know what their keyboards look like ??
