I am not one to believe in ghosts and all that..

.....

But the night after Thanksgiving was very odd.... It was late about 10 and we were all in the front room. The new puppy started acting really odd and ended up going and hiding under her blanket in her crate. All of a sudden ding dong the doorbell rang. My husband was RIGHT by the door. Opened it right away.... NO ONE around at ALL or anywhere around (no there wasn't anyway they could have hidden and not been seen we live in the desert, no one was hiding in the cactus!)
There was a VERY odd smell in the outside entry foyer. It wasn't in the whole area just in a 'pocket' it was the smell of sulfur or salty it was weird.... Then a few feet away from the entry there was the smell of gun powder.... The weird thing was these smells were in two pockets and it was much cooler in these areas and the smells stayed for awhile even with the wind.
It was creepy.

i was lying in bed one night shortly after my dad died and i felt someone sit on the end of my bed but no one was there.

Another night i was lying in bed and i felt a hand squeeze my shoulder i rolled over and there was a figure the shape of a person glowing in the pitch black.

And another time i was going through some stuff i did at school a few years before and threw a jigsaw puzzle i made in primary school into the bin in my bedroom, that night i heard a rustle of plastic and the sound of air being blown into a bag then.. BANG. i woke up in the morning and the plastic bag that the puzzle was in was in the bin with a hole in it and the puzzle was put together on my floor.
i also had two posters of artists that my dad didnt like up on my walls and i would wake up in the morning and they would be on the floor or folded on the end of my bed no matter how much blutac or sticky tape i would put them up with!

Cool huh

My windows are tight, so is the door, yet every now and then I get a strong smell of tobacco smoke. I have a big lot and there is noway for outside odors to get in the house. My dead grandmother smoked. My mother sometimes smells that, too, and her house sits away from others. They say spirits can bring odors along when they visit. Didn't you ever hear about the ghost of a woman in that Chicago cemetery. You can always smell the scent of roses before she is seen.

That is creepy. In watching TAPS/Ghost Hunters they were in Ireland at a castle and smelled something similar. It wasn't a friendly thing either. It pushed someone down.

Good luck!
