open your firewall and give Limewire permission to go on the Internet!!!

Go to Start>Control Panel>Windows Firewall, then go to the exceptions tab, and find Limewire. If the box in unchecked, click on it to check it. This should allow Limewire to work through your firewall...

Turn off your firewall only during the time it takes to download
"LimeWire". Then turn your firewall back on.

try using comodo firewall and its free but u need to get rid of your current firewall
