I made this account to ask this question...

Me and my girlfriend had sex for the first time a little more than a week ago. We went out and bought some condoms and used one, to be safe, and it didn't break or anything, from the look of it. I think it was spermicidal, anyway. I pulled out before I came, just to be on the safe side. There was probably some pre-ejaculate in the condom itself, but none got out. We would of known. But like I said, there were no breakages.

She's now two days late, and she claims she hasn't really been late before. Go figure, as soon as we start having sex, she's late.

We've been worrying, and over analyzing this. We've practically picked apart every detail, and reminisced on the whole thing everyday since it has happened, and I'm hoping that that is contributing to her late period. It just won't come, we've been praying that it would for the past two days, but nope.

We're really young, and this would be horrible if it was to happen.

Should we be worrying

The fact of having had sex for the first time may cause your girlfriend stress or anxiety, which can delay the beginning of the period.
I see no reason for the two of you to be worried.
You took so many precautions, I guess you would be worried even if she, in addition, had taken the pill.
Remember the old song: "Don't worry, be happy!", and I wish you to be happy, too.

From what you've described she's most likely not pg. But the best thing to do is go to the store and buy a pregnancy test. It will be the only way to ease your worries.

And by the way a woman's cycle can change at anytime. And stress can be a factor in not starting her period, along with about 100 thousand other reasons.

is your girlfriend under alot of stress. that could be a factor in her period being late. if you both used protective sex you shouldn't have anything to worry about. if it doesn't come pretty soon however i would be considering a pregnancy test

dont worry, it sounds as if you were overly careful there and it would have to be an act of god if you were pregnant. that is assuming you didnt do any bare penetration before you felt you were close to done.
stress will definately stall her period, and she will most likely get it tomorrow. however, if you are young enough that you are seriously worried about screwing up your life, you shouldnt be having sex. when your ready in your life to take responsability for another life, then go to it.

I don't think that she is preganant. If she is young then maybe she is having a irregular period, alot can contribute to this factor.
