I have no hard facts, but i seem to think the chance is about 50/50. I know of more then one family with more then one gay child.

I also know of boy/girl twins, one is a lesbian and the other is gay.

recently viewed an interesting program on TV that said the more male children a woman gives birth to, the chances increase with each boy that he will be gay. This program also stated that this does not apply to lesbians. The reason had to do with "alien" hormones (testosterone)being introduced into the mothers body with each male pregnancy. The program also stated that the tendency for this to occur runs in families, meaning that just because a mother has several sons does not necesarily mean somewhere down the line any of them will be gay. There has to be a 'predisposition' in place in order for this to occur. I am not sure, but I think it was a Dr. Phil show. Anyway, they gave a percentile of what the chances would be with each male pregnancy in such a case. Maybe you could email the show and they could give that info to you.

About the same as having two straight children.

Normally chances are low. But it happens.
Have friend one of three kids. He + younger brother both gay, sister straight - parents upset cos no g/sons 'in male line', but otherwise OK about it.
I think I'd be more worried about my kids having Hodgkinson's, Parkinson's, MND, etc, than being gay!

I don't really know but Rosie O'Donnell is a lesbian and her brother is gay too. I'm a les and I think my brother is gay too... so maybe there's a possibility that there's a higher chance than we think.

Well, they say 1 in 10 people are gay....so if you have 20 kids, pretty high!!

Seriously, tho--I have a gay son & 2 hetero sons....I think odds are small to have more than one in a family---but I HAVE heard of it.

I've known a number of lesbi/gay/gay people with gay sibs - and one friend with three sibs, all of whom were lesbian or gay. Also, a couple of lesbians with lesbian moms. But statistically?

I don't know how anyone would know that answser.

I do know someone that had two children............female and male that were.
The son changed his life, is a Christian now and is married. I think he got help from Exodus.

The girl ended up having two girls (children and marrying ) after high school, but they divorced and she still sees a woman.
