Hi,
Congrats! Ok, my advice to you is to always talk, communication is the answer! Never make comments you'll later regret and NEVER go to bed on an arguement.
Good luck!!

You have to be willing to understand what his needs are and let him know that he can trust you with anything, all of his deepest, darkest and shameful secrets. If he can trust you with all this he will be more willing to talk with you about things that bother him or make him insecure. If he can't trust you, he will always be keeping something from you. always be willing to do things for him that make him happy, and learn what new things might make him happy. On the same point, be willing to express your needs and wants with him.
Long lasting love is about giving and sacrificing your needs for his. Hopefully he will feel the same way, but most men don't. Find the beauty and joy in putting your husband and family ahead of your needs, and you will find the happiness that doesn't expire.

Make sure you eat your main meal of the day together. At this time you can discuss the problems and successes of that day. Do fun things as a family unit. Be careful of how much TV is watched. Respect each other and the kids and never argue in front of the kids. When you do argue and it will happen keep the name calling out of it argue with respect. Best of luck.

We are married 18 yrs, 4 kids, 3 teenagers, 1 adult. We always put our kids first. We say,,,, "if our kids are happy, then we are happy" All 3 of our teenagers work, ages 15,16,17. Our family didn't just come the way it is, MY husband and I made it that way.
