Breathe. Really. Just breathe cause the first thing people do in a time of crisis is to start breathing in a shallow way. That make's anxiety.

When you start breathing again, deep, you are in a totally different moment. Give it a try. It's like you can't breath deep and be tense at the same time.

Call people. There is a non-crisis hotline, for non suicidal situations. I think we all have more people then we know, sometimes.

When you get it under control, or even before if you can, get out in the fresh air. Do things that you like to do.

Getting on Yahoo Answers, helps!

I love to email the people on answers. That is a cool connection. Some of the things they say, I just feel like I couldn't live without sometimes, the way the conversations can go back and forth.

They can help you work things out.

Well, I don't know how old you are, let alone any other background on you, but I know that when I was younger (I'm 37 now), I felt alone a lot, and not even necessarily when there was a crisis in my life. I do know that for me, what caused that feeling in me was being abandoned by my father when I was a child (he took off when I was about 11). In my young adult life, this was a particularly strong feeling, even though I had a boyfriend whom I was very close to and even lived with. I guess I was about 28 or so when I finally came to the realization of what was causing me to feel this way. By then I had a daughter that was two years old. I found that just going to her, and playing with her really helped a lot. I don't know if you have any children, but perhaps you have a young relative that you could spend some time with. What filled that void within me was joy, and that is something I could only get from being with my child. There's something so joyful about watching a child at play. And I don't know of any other thing in this world that can bring that kind of joy other than a child at play, enjoying the moment. Try this and see if it helps any. Good luck and take care!
