I have white icle lights hanging from the house,
Candycanes that you stick in the ground all along my walkway,
white net lights in this big bush by my house,
and even some colored lights wrapped around some of the trees!
I am so excited, although my tree isn't up yet. haha.
happy 29 days until =]

Nope -- have NOT started Decorating yet.

The reasons why are as follows:
1. I live in Florida -- and the leaves are now starting to fall and I'm still raking (finished most of the pine needles already).
2. I went to the After Thanksgiving sales to get my Christmas Shopping Finished.
3. I FINALLY am an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree (after being a Long Term Single Parent) and am right up to my eyeballs in clearing out the stuff from the home that the (now adult) disabled children did not want to take with them ... that can be donated -- and the things that are damaged .. well they are going into the trash.
4. I DO NOT Start Christmas Decorating Inside or Outside my Home until the 1st of December anyway -- it is JUST TOO EARLY to start decorating, and I'd much rather REFLECT on the Giving of Thanks for the BOUNTY that I've EARNED through my Hard Work over the years ... and I am very glad I did the work ... because it allowed me to be a successful long term single parent.

properly we get a real tree and we went right down to the tree guy's field the different day. we discovered some solid 14ft timber yet we are occurring back right this moment (saturday) to be certain for specific. we've not began adorning interior yet we do save the yule lighting fixtures furnishings up all 3 hundred and sixty 5 days around on the spindels in between the kitchen/family individuals room and additionally those in the downstairs bathing room. we start up with each and all the decorations merely after thanksgiving yet for the reason that wek normally save the decorations up until eventually march/apirl (NO LIE) we don't experience the could start up TOO early.

I have a rule that I do not decorate until the 1st weekend in December...its tough not to want to put my tree up but I try to stick with it.

I rent my apartment and they guy that owns it and lives down stairs doesn't usually decorate the outside....although maybe we should this year... but my parents did their outdoor decorations at their house on Friday after Thanksgiving.

I will admit to having listened to Christmas music during our first good snowfall and have seen White Christmas twice since Thanksgiving....

My husband just started doing the lights outside today. I told him he better get a move on because after this week the weather is supposed to start getting really cold. It was a beautiful November day in PA today!
Normally we are the last ones on our block to get our decorataions up, usually around the middle of Dec.

We normally put our Christmas tree and decorate outside on Turkey Day. But this year, my son wanted to put up the tree a couple of days before Turkey Day, and we did! lol But we waited to put up the outside decorations so we'll have something to do to burn off dinner!!! lol
