No Elves sorry. They are characters out of old Germanic mythology. Popularized in fantasy literature, especially JRR Tolkien's "The Hobbit" and "Lord of the Rings" they have no more factual basis than any other magical European pagan characters. Brownies, Sprites, Trolls, Pixies, Fairies, Gnomes have similar origins.

I definitely think so.
The myths had to come from somewhere, most likely having a basis in reality. People back then created stories based on what they knew to be factual and embellished it as time went along because it wasn't customary yet to write down anything for posterity.

i thinks some myths are real, and elves are just too cool, so i say yea and they wouldve lived in the whole norse area... but nowadays i just call them little people, elf seems offensive

Most people would say no, but having seen a fey when I was young I'm inclined to believe that all "magical" creatures are real. so yes, if you believe, they are real
