i have, and actually that one chart was what got me into deeply into astrology in the first place, it shows my open mind, yet fixed opinions, my reserved nature (saturn conjunct ascendent) and alot of my fears...

Very accurate, if you have it done by the right person; an astrologer that knows what they're doing, and not just junk they copied off the internet. Some of us still do it by hand, and actually know what all that gobbledygook means. Your natal will tell you about 80% of your life. Your progressed will show you the other 20%, along with the lunations and eclipses. Websites are fun, but they don't understand delineation thru correlation. Like the thing above - I think was Venus in Scorpio - Venus in Scorpio means the same as having Pluto in Taurus or Libra. You will gain or lose thru in-laws or you will gain or lose thru the resources of others, whether it's inheritance, irs audits whatever. It's like having venus in the 8th house. Be careful what documents you sign or things you do with your partner. Don't get a joint checking account with them unless the aspects in your natal chart are good. You need to be careful of getting sexual diseases, or your partner bringing one home. Venus in the 10th, in Scorpio, is the same as having Saturn in the 8th. My greatest love/ or job comes after the age of 40. You have a scientific mind, capable of great research. I will outlive my spouse, and collect ss or life insurance, whatever. And that's just a few things this placement conveys. I am extremely close to one parent, whether for good or ill. They will either give me money, or cost me money. I will live a long time, but I may be plagued with arthritis, bad teeth, yada, yada. Those are just a couple examples.

I've had a natal chart done, as well as a 1 year progressive. The natal chart was dead on accurate. It revealed things that I didn't even know about until I asked my Mom after the reading. The 1 year progressive was accurate also. I had the chart done and read by a very reputable astrologer in L.A.

I've never had a professional do my birth chart, but I've done one myself and looked up placements, asked around. I found my chart fairly accurate, and kind of creepy when it hit on certain parts of my life that I didn't think a horoscope chart would.

You can have one too! Go to www.astro.com, and start there. They'll do a semi profile on you, and you can always start clicking on the other random options that they have for charts to see what your chart says about you. Then you can just go to Google (I find it more extensive than Yahoo!, Yahoo! seems to limit on what sites it gives) and type in what placements you have (Venus in the 5th house or 10th house Scorpio) and see what comes up.

Good luck!

I have and I also cast them now. I find that they are about 94% accurate. I think that the lacking 6% is from life experiences changing us.
