I have two YouTube gems: Eric Johnson and Slash (from GNR, Velvet Revolver).
The first is Eric Johnson's "Cliffs of Dover". I think you need to get some talent into your listening choices at this age if you want to be a successful musician later on. Skip ahead to the :58 mark on this video.

The next is Slash doing the "Godfather" theme. The movie is definitely too graphic for someone your age but the theme is a classic on guitar.

Get some compilation cds, like soundtracks to The Last Kiss, The OC, One Tree Hill, Garden State and Grey's Anatomy. They'll give you the chance to hear a lot of different singers and bands and decide what you want to explore further.
Additionally, others you might like are Snow Patrol, Teddy Geiger, Fall Out Boy, Relient K, The Fray, and Cheyenne Kimball.

Im 11 too and i really like Panic! At The Disco
im obsessed and i prefer Cute Is What We Aim For they have some awesome songs and Hellogoodbye have good songs and ummm blink 182 they r old but still have good songs and Incubus thats what i prefer
