How about William Wordsworth, William Shaekspeare, Robert Service, Sir Walter Scott, Alfred Lord Tennyson, Emily Dickinson, Ezra Pound, Samuel Coleridge, etc.

One of my favorite current poets is Mary Oliver. Her book "White Pine" is fantastic.

Among the classics might be Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson or Shakespeare if you can handle him!
