JK Rowling says that she will only be writing 7, but she also did say she might consider writing some more of the "school book" like books that she wrote for charity in 2001. We can only hope that she will continue to write even after HP is finished.

Not per se. JKR is planning an encylopedia of Harry Potter's world. And she may license the HP world for fan fiction.

not according to the author, she has always said there will only be 7 from the start and in interviews she has actually said that she wrote the last chapter first!!!
