Suppose I have a problem: 1/x > 7

I want to solve the inequality for x.
Can someone give me the right answer and show their work?

First, notice that you need to restrict x to > 0

then mult by x

1/x>7
1 > 7x
1/7>x

If you have a graphing calculator, it's instructive to see what 1/x looks like.
