I want to build a car that will do 200mph and still be able to drive it on a regular basis. Not a daily driver, but an every now and then sports car.
There are two ways I see going through this process start from scratch or just add parts to an already assembled car. I already know weight, hp and aero dynamics plays the largest roll. I also know that I want a 6 speed AWD transmission.
What kind of car should I start with?
OR
What kind of frame should I use?
What kind of engine should I use?
Turbo or Supercharged, which is better?
What type of AWD, 6-speed transmission would work best?
Anything else helpful?
Any real input would be helpful, especially if you actually know what you’re talking about and not just full of B.S.

By cheap, I mean not a Porsche or Ferrari...those answers relating to cheap are what I mean by B.S.

300ZX twin turbo ....take the governor off and you have a top speed of 180mph.
boost the psi on the turbos to 14 psi each then add a small shot of nitrous and you should be at or over 200mph.

All right, I'll assume this is for Bonneville, the Maxton Mile, or similar top speed racing events.
There's two ingredients you will need here - aerodynamics and power. You'll have the best aerodynamics with a streamliner or lakester, but good luck getting one of those legal on the street. If you're wondering what those are, here's a pair of lakesters:

And here's a streamliner:

But if you want it street legal, you'll have an easier time starting with a production based car. It seems the most common choice for land speed records is the third generation Trans Am - the "Knight Rider" body style. This one's very aerodynamic and has several good engine options. I'd say your best choice for low cost and ease of installation would be a smallblock Chevy V8 with a centrifugal supercharger and intercooler - it's easier to fit in the engine compartment than turbos. You should be able to get one good for 750 hp or more from a good race engine builder.
I would, however, suggest you drop the idea of an all wheel drive six speed transmission. This is one rare combination. These limit your options a bit too much for my tastes, as most of them were made for a specific car and engine and are kind of difficult to adapt to any other vehicle. Worse, it's nearly impossible to change gear ratios on them without some serious spending, while a rear wheel drive car can use a common axle with a wide variety of gearsets.
If you MUST have six speeds and all wheel drive, you might want to see if it's possible to drop a Lancer EVO six speed into a first or second generation Eclipse. You'll give up a bit of horsepower compared to a good supercharged V8, but might still be able to get it to do 200 as the 4G63 engine that comes with this transmission makes some pretty good power. The regular Eclipses only had five speeds IIRC, which is why you would need an EVO transmission.

already built- Ariel Atom, it costs 41,000 and will beat most Ferraris. If you got in a wreck there would be nothing left, its an open-wheel, open-cockpit design. Do it Yourself- a Corvette can go 190+, so with a Supercharger will push 200 MPH. A supercharger is better because it is a cold air intake, and so is more effective and dosent harm emissions as much. The Corvette is also a usable daily driver.

As far as engines go, consider, the 426 hemi with 465 HP which you can order as a crate engine and they have two other pulling 528 HP and 610 HP. There are web sites where you can order them with super chargers already on them pulling around 900 to 1000 HP. If you look at what is running in the pro funny cars, they are all Hemi's. They may have Chevy or ford written on them, but they are all Hemi's. and the Hemi is the only engine ever ban by NASCAR. However, they are expensive. They start at around $10,000.
