I just found out that our business entered the parade, and I have no clue where to begin on making this. It's going to be a night parade, so it will have to have plenty of Christmas lighting. It will have to be very basic and inexpensive, as there's not much time (a few days) to make it, and we are a new store with a very limited budget. The store is a cash advance business. Please help!! Thanks!!

Have all your staff dress as elves and decorated the float with a simple red and white theme using the clear christmas lights...it always works at the parade here in my town...the Merry Christmas banner and have lots of red bows tied and loud Christmas music the elves waving and throwing candy to the kids,,,,

If you want to keep it with a theme for your business go to a dollar store and buy lots of play money and use that to decorate a fake tree, you could even make wreaths or holly boughs out it as well using red ribbons and bows… use lots of lights (you can even purchase those at the dollar store... for it wont really matter if they work next year or not lol) and then come up with some type of holiday banner using the name of your business

If you must do a float I suggest wrapping giant boxes with lids that have handles on the inside. Have your employees children dressed like elves hide inside them with candy. Periodically have them pop up and toss candy to the crowd. In the center a mr.and mrs. Santa. If the Santa is prohibited purchase the prelit set of rain deer.

bypass to an arts and crafts save and get your components. they are much less high priced and have lots to furnish. Borrow or in case you have a truck (something as super as an F-250) beautify it with the aid of putting colourful paper (now and returned refered to as shape paper) on the components. purchase some glue and gliter and spred the glue on the paper and then sprinkle the glitter. They use cristmas easy and make the glitter sparkle and say it somewhat is a moden day Santa...
