you press on the gas pedal and release the clutch at the same time. you need to release the clutch very slow are you will stall the car

Gas a little, into gear (1st or 2nd), clutch up to biting point, and when safe to move off, release hand brake.

You could read a book about it, but untill you actualy do it, it won't help.
