Its true that alot of people think that but its not true at all.
they are bred by people to be mean/fight, so they have a bad reputation, but they aren't evil.
My neighbor has one, and she is the most loveable dog ever.

I firmly believe there are no bad dogs, regardless of breed. There are, however, bad owners and bad breeders. Dogs that are raised by owners who encourage aggressive behavior will, naturally, be aggressive. Dogs act the way they do so that their owners will be pleased- and if that aggressive behavior gets approval, it will continue. Likewise, some dogs may be genetically prone to belligerent behavior. If people breed these temperament-challenged dogs, they could end up with gene combinations that make them ripe for meanness. Unfortunately in the pit bull world, both bad training and bad breeding frequently occur, thereby leading to problems. Many of the issues surrounding the American Pit Bull Terrier could be avoided through proper breeding, training, and public education.

the clarification canines fighters use pits isn't because they are evidently the meanest maximum aggressive of canines breeds. Pitbulls are chosen absolutely because they have extra mucle than different breeds so once you stress them to paintings out they could get a lot superior and characteristic the most helpful jaw (they don't "lock" their jaw opposite to customary perception...they in simple terms have the most important jaw muscle of all canines breeds to they could chew down harder in the experience that they prefer to. observe how they in many situations have various of flesh on the aspects of their face? it really is all muscle). Any canines breed you may imagine of, no matter how stunning and cuddly searching, WILL change into an aggressive fighter in case you positioned them with the help of what they do to fighter dogs. it truly is incontrovertible fact with the help of those who study and are knowledgeable in animal habit. those dogs are starved, beaten, tortured, and conditioned to be rather frightened of alternative dogs and subsequently study that the absolutely thanks to proceed to exist is to be aggressive. I actually were round various of pitbulls and in the experience that they are not dealt with badly they are continually the sweetest maximum loving dogs i have ever seen. truly i have said that pits lots of the time have extra seperation stress because they are so connected to their households. in case you ask all people who has bred pits, has a level contained in the study of animals and their habit, all people who has raised one from start/owned numerous, or all people who easily is conventional with something about the breed besides what they have heard or experienced with only a go with few pitbulls will inform you that they at the instantaneous are not something yet massive teddybears. I desire people understood that this is been shown that scuffling with dogs at the instantaneous are not born, they are made with the help of evil, heartless people.

This is due to ignorance. The title of "pit bull" is no more a breed of dog than "tabby" is a breed of cat. The pit bull strain can run in almost all breeds of dog and if we are to euthanize all pit bulls, we can easily wipe out millions of innocent house-pets in the biggest animal holocaust since the slaying of cats for being witches in the middle ages.

Hi: I have a dog that is mixed breed. She is part pit and part shepherd. I love my wonderful dog with all of my heart and do not think that pits are evil. I am blind and my dog has learned to help me whenever I drop something she'll come over to me and stand by whatever it is that I have dropped. When I know where she is I find what it was that I dropped. I used to have a pit full breed and he was great also.
What an explosive question... Do you have a pit? Just curious.

Yes. They are the result of bad breeding. They are unpredictable. They are not docile enough to trust. They are stupid, agressive and they are basically retarded. Personally, I think they are incredibly ugly and should never be trusted around children. I am a dog lover but I hate those ugly mutts. They are worthless to families with small children.

Pitbulls have their place as guard dogs, but not as family pets.

Count me in as one who thinks so. They may start out fine, no problems but as they age they become unpredictable. The damage these dogs can do when they do is horendous. Nobody needs to own such an animal.
