Via ultrasound, most people won't attempt until after 18 weeks. Before that, they may be able to tell, but the results aren't considered as accurate.
By amnio, I'm not 100% certain. There is something else called CVS that I believe can tell you the gender really early, but that test is not commonly offered.

The Dr.s usually will schedule an ultrasound around 20 weeks. Of course, that is if the baby lets you see.

Well they tell you that 12-17 wks. but I would wait a little longer so you can see better. I got to see my baby at 20 wks, which is a bit late but I saw everything It was great. talk to your doctor and they will suggest when you should have yours.

If you have an amnio.....anytime.
To be pretty sure with an ultrasound..around 17 weeks

When I had my dating scan I was 14 weeks and they told me I was having a boy... and I did!!
