You should be able to go back into history. If you have WINDOWS XP, go to START, PROGRAMS, ACCESORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS, then SYSTEM RESTORE. Choose to the closest date before you got the virus. It should be all cleared like before you had the virus. Goodluck! I hope this works! It worked for me.

It seems like online software is out of the question. Try system restore. If that doesn't work, you'll have no other choice but to buy some utilities like antispyware and antiviruses from trusted companies on CD, scan and delete. After recovery, download all the protection you can and copy them onto an empty disc for any emergency.

If you have a flash drive, take it to a friend's house, download ClamWin Portable, load it on the flash drive, and run it at your house. Works great, and easier than the other listed methods!
