When "most" of them look down on those of African descent? Last time I used the word "ALL", but this time I am using "most" most=95% and up but not 100% I would say only 5% of these groups are actually non-racist put together, not 5% from each group. And don't give me that "blacks are the most racist" cause how can we look down on on others when we are at the bottom. And yes I know some blacks are racist against each other, it just that we have so much against us already from our own group then we got them jumping on our back as well. Maybe it's the cultures and text books that teach black is bad.

You have no reason to trust any "group."
Look at individuals and judge from there.

Racism has nothing to do with status - it simply means race preference or judgment based on race. Therfore anyone can be a racist. If you mean discrimination (choosing to not to act favorably toward another due to race, class, gender, sexual orientation, age) then it is necessary that the person discriminating have some power in society. Are you suggesting 95% (or more) of each of the groups mentioned have that power? Being Latina, I would argue that vehemently. If you are saying that that many of the groups don't "like" Black people, I would argue that, too, but you are entitled to your opinion and distrust, but it will only make you bitter and unhappy.

By the way, I am Latina married to a Black man who is part Indian (Native American - with a tribal card, not just say so) and we have a Black-Mexican-Native American son.

the problem is your basing your statistics off the actions of a vocal few people who made the impression on you for the whole group. But by your generalization your not acting in way better then the racists that you despise.

At some point you'll have to move past the racism if you plan on getting anywhere in life. That doesn't mean ignore when racism happens in your life, but not to judge everyone based off those actions. Martin Luther King knew this to be true, so did Malcolm X for that matter. Take every incident for what it is, not for what your generalize it as likely to be.

I am so sorry for the way you feel. But I believe that there is more to a person then the color of there skin. I agree that some do judge someone because they are different, but that is obvious from the moment you meet them.
Do to the way you have been treated by some you yourself have become prejudice and you may have an attitude, body language or something negative when you meet these people.
I don't know what country you live in, but in the US there are alot of blacks that are equal to the whites in every facet of there lives. (Ex. rich, poor, smart, stupid generous, cheap) Don't get me wrong not all people are good but if you believe everyone is out to get you, you will get yourself.
Just be kind and fair in this life to others and it will come back to you regardless of the color of there skin or which god they prey to..
Be well and good luck to you.
Susan

Stupid people in large groups are not a way to judge an entire ethnic group.
Sorry you are so put-upon----maybe you should MOVE to a more ethnically diverse area?

Nobody I hang out with looks down at ANYBODY in groups, with the exception of Neo-Nazis and child molesters, who can be any race!

Go ahead and look down on all of us, and see who is the real racist here.

I don't know where you live, but it isn't like that here. The superintendent of schools for L.A. unified is black, many of the directors of L.A. unified school district are black, and many of the principals are black. So looking down on them isn't really an option.

If you wear clothing that is symbolic of gangs, and look at everyone like you are going to kill them, then people will look down on you no matter what race you are. If you wear a suit, and make eye contact with people, and smile often, people will not look down on you for the most part, no matter what race you are. Sometimes it isn't entirely about ethnicity, it is about how you carry yourself.

What a chip you have on your shoulder!

People recognise people with that attitude and react badly to it.

Get real man - go out into the world as an equal treating people as an equal and expecting to be treated the same. It is easy and many people of different colours, beliefs and lifestyles do it everyday and are accepted.

Do not hold yourself back. Throw off your preconceived ideas and join the real world!!!

Sounds like you don't like anybody at all. Just because you have some bad experience with other cultures doesn't mean you don't have to trust them at all. Give the rest of us a break and take a real look at yourself.

well first of all we are all people rather balck, white, asian, latino,

and because we are all human we make mistakes.
but i know that where i live theese assumptions are caused on the way alot of the cities population acts. And thats wrong because everyone should be judged not by generalization but by the way the make their own desicions.

society does stupid stuff.

but everyone is still human rather smart or ignorant we all make mistakes..

open your mind it isnt text books or cultures,

Wow...your question is just a form of reverse racism. If you don't like people "looking down" on you because of your race, don't automatically look down or mistrust them beacuse of theirs. I know you can't change the world all by yourself. But you can change it one person at a time...just start with yourself.

Racism is preferring a race over another.

So yes, you are racist.

and stop making false generalizations. It's most likely just the area you live in.
