ive been on the dole for almost 2 years and i am way better off!!

when i was working me and my family had around £100 to live off after paying all the bills,

but now i am not working we are now happy and loaded and i mean loaded, we even bought a caravan last month and we use if nearly every weekend, and we are off to center parcs on december the 11th, (thats after a 7 nights holidays at golden sands haven holiday)

people who work everyday and do nothing on weekends are wasting thier lifes away!!!!

people who work just to pay bills is wrong!!

this is the second time ive asked this question tonight and everyone thinks i am winding people up and lying!!

this is the honest truth! not in anyway i am lying about anyword i have typed!

this is a genuine question...

Thanks

I'd rather work to pay off my bills. It gives me a feeling of achievement when I do. It feels good to work hard for something. It helps you to appreciate it more. For instance, my parents bought me my first car. I could care less about that thing. Someone keyed it, oh well. Now that i have bought my own car and I am working to pay for it, I take so much better care of it. I love it more than any other car I've had. But also, people often don't just work to pay bills, they work so they can feel like they have done something worthwhile, or important in their lives. I also have friends at work. If I didn't work, I would have never met them. I find work is the best place to meet people. Yeah, I understand your point of view, there are days that i just want to walk out of the job and go travel the world or something. But after that was done, what would I do? Having a job is important to me. Also, I may work 5 days a week, but those other two days, I don't sit around and do nothing. And there are vacations. People who work still have time to do things, just not as much as someone who doesn't work.

Working on a small income is not nice, I think it is great to plan ahead and sort out a good pension and supplementary income for later in life.
BUT! If I was working for no gain apart from paying the bills I would most likely give up.
However whilst in the world of work, better opportunity can arise and continuous personal development is a great creator of pride.
Knowing you have worked for your belongings is a good feeling too.
Your children would have a good role model in you, whilst they watch you take pride in bettering yourself and going out into the world in order to gain self respect and belonging for yourself.
If you dont like the idea of being at the bottom of the work ladder, become your own boss. Start a window cleaning round or similar, or do casual gardening for a small income.

I'd love to know how you are loaded without working. Maybe you were good at savings and investments...you didn't say. Good for you, but not everyone is that lucky. I agree that working and doing nothing else iswn't healthy...you need to play too. But some of us worked very hard all of our adult lives and still found ourselves in financial trouble. My wife and I for instance both ended up disabled from physical problems. All of our savings have gone to Dr bills and paying regular household bills before we got on disability. If you have any magic answers...let us know.

Do you think that you would be able to live the way you do if there weren't people working for a living. Someone has to pay for your luxuries. Do us all a favour and get a job and stop wasting your time asking stupid questions

I totally agree with you, I have not worked for 6 year's and claiming incapacity benefit the whole time.

I just lie to the doctpr i have a mental illness and he keeps giving me prescriptions (temezapam) and I just sell it to Junkies! Between that and my £56 a week I am living the high life. I have been to the great barrier reef this year, been skiing in the Alps and even bought myself a wee helicopter (second hand of course!)

I think you are right, the quality of life you are leading is outstanding and if more people like us would realise this we could all live this rich life that we both share.

I will need to go now, I am just about to test drive a Bentley then Im off to Monte Carlo with Tom Cruise for a casino break before heading to my own private island in the Seychelles.

My question to you losers ? What are you doing tommorow uh? Going to work!!!

Losers!!!!!

what about self respect and dignity, are you happy for a handout? thoses peeps that work to pay bills also pay tax which is then paid to you to live.

also what about setting a good example to your family???

remember, but obviously you wont care, but thoses peeps who just work to pay bills are paying for your holidays to.

I also dont get this i cant get a job culture, I was unemployed for a week and a half and walked streets and knocked on doors and was going out of my mind an I still managed to find work

sorry mate get a bloomin job

First off, we live in an economic world. Money is at the bottom of all motivation. And people think they must work work work all day for a long time just to make pay check bigger, but they lose happiness and the clock on life is ticking. I agree with you. I work, yes. But it is not my life. I make money, but I live too. Money is to spend in moderation, not to hoard away just for a feeling of wealth. Eat, drink, and live the hell outta life.

self esteem, a sense of achievement, a sense of pride in actually earning your money rather than living off others, a social conscience. You obviously have none of these, nor do you have any sympathy for others, otherwise if what you've said is true, you wouldn't be rubbing it in to those who do genuinely earn their money but are still struggling to provide for their families.
