The pill, or another type of contraceptive.
Spermicide, pulling out, and other "methods" are not nearly as reliable. Most women do not have problems going on the pill, but the first few months will feel strange. As for me, I did have libido problems for about the first 6 months. I have now been on the pill for 3 years and have had no problems since then, once your body adapts to it the pill will "regulate" your hormones, flow, etc.

Well, lots.
Any hormonal contraceptives are good. Like the pill, the ring, the patch. Most people report no libido changes and they are 99% effective when used correctly.

If you are female then condoms are good! The Pill could well have a detrimental effect on your libido and mood. Condoms protect both man and woman from STD's. Think again about condoms - they are the best thing really.

i never had any problems with the pill, and it helped stabilise my periods. only downside is that u have to be able to remember to take it every day, so it's no good if u have a lousy memory !!! other than that, there is the coil.... but i've had a couple of friends who've had negative experience with that - one even became pregnant whilst her coil was still in place !!! i've also heard negative reports about the contraceptive injection, my cousin was really ill after having that....... so personally i would try the pill first, see if that suits u.

A diaphgram, or Dutch Cap is pretty good; you need to use a spermacidal cream or gel with it though. No side effects.
It does require a bit of planning.
The Mirena Coil is suitable for women who have heavy periods; no side effects.
and the Billings method; check on the internet for full details. you learn to observe your cervical mucous and how it changes in consistency dramatically during your cycle; no side effects, but a higher risk of pregnancy.

I would always use a condom, the pill etc does not protect you from s.t.d's,it always better to be safe than sorry,u may not want children at the moment but you may at a later date, suffering with clymidia could prevent you from having children, although i am not sure if this answer is correct as i am unsure of your age etc..goodluck,remember if u can't be good,be safe hehe...xx
