a ruptured blood vessel on the surface is called a subconjunctival hemmorrhage and takes 2-3 weeks to disappear. The visine is a complete waste of your money.

You CANNOT hasten the absorption of this broken blood vessel. Be grateful that it did not harm your vision. Remember, you only have 2 eyes, you cannot replace them. Take good care of them and if this was a "sport" injury, or impact injury, see an Ophthalmologist to make sure that NO INTERNAL damage was done to your vitreous. Take my advise.

That happened to me. You need patience. It's gonna go away by itself. Don't worry.

It takes time for the body to absorb it.
