if we last until christmas, i cannot decide what to get!
is a gift card bad?? I was thinking maybe his favorite candy, and a gift card???

No it's good. I always enjoy getting gift cards because then you can go shopping and get what you really want. It's a new relationship so I think it is appropriate and thoughtful.

Good girl! I'm glad you're not thinking of anything extravagant for a male of "little over a month." A gift card is always a better buy!! Why stress yourself when you can enjoy, yourself for the holidays?

I think it is a good gift because it never expires and the person you give it to will use it until all the money is gone. So I personally think it is a great and cool gift.
