Take the skin off and make sure there's no seeds. I just kept to baby food until my children were over 1 yr. I gave them Gerber Graduates.

With babies, your biggest clue on when to feed certain foods...is how fast do they dissolve. The reason for this is if the food gets stuck in the throat...will it dissolve. With grapes you also have to worry about the skin choking the baby. When my children were big enough to eat table food, I did give them grapes, your best bet is to peel the skin off and depending on the size of the grape...cut them into half or into quarters. Your baby will love them. Be sure not to give him whole grapes...this could be hazardous. Enjoy the expressions on his face if they end up being a little bitter. There discovery is my favorite part of babies!!

Watch out for choking. Once they start eating, babies have a way of eyeing everyone's food enviously. However, resist the urge to pass them a potato chip or chicken leg. You can start finger foods between eight and ten months, giving things like banana pieces, shredded lean meat, or overcooked pasta. Keep the pieces small! Never give sliced carrots or sliced hot dogs, nuts, popcorn, raw vegetables, hard candies, or whole grapes to babies; they can easily lodge in baby's airway.

You have to peel them and take the seeds out if there are seeds. Then mash them up. You might be able to get away with not peeling them if you take seedless grapes and put them in the blender for a long time until the peels are in tiny tiny pieces.

If you are going to start feeding him grapes, make sure they are the seedless grapes.
I would not feed him grapes at this age. I would wait until he has teeth. They can choke on the grapes. Just my opinion.

I made sure they were seedless.
Peeled the skin, and quartered, keep a good eye on them while they eat....don't panic when you change the diaper...lol it'll look like raisins... :)
