My Add/Remove Programs is not working, I cannot access gmail/hotmail/yahoo but I can surf other websites (I am using my bro's comp to type this question.)
I thought installing IE 7 would solve the problem but now I can't get online at all. I tried installing firefox but I still get the same "You are not connected to the internet" message.
Please help.

Your computer is probabily old i inssest you get a new one

I think you may have to reinstall Windows on your computer. There should be something in your start menu like "System Restore," or there may be disks to do this that came with your computer.
This will erase everything on your drive, so remember to back up! When you get the computer back up and running, be sure to not use IE for web browsing to keep your computer safe. Use Firefox or Opera instead.
When you do a system restore, the computer will be as fast as the day you bought it.

try sending it to a store that fixes comps
